BELIEVE – LAUNCH Party

We were thrilled to have so many people join us on September 9 to celebrate the launch of BELIEVE – Stroke Recovery Foundation! This event was previously postponed, due to COVID-19. Attendees enjoyed light hors d’oeuvres, ice cream from Mama Bird's, wine, beer and more, while mingling around the historic Leslie-Alford-Mims House and learning more about the foundation from founders Michael & Jennifer Erwin.

Special thanks to the Leslie-Alford-Mims House and all of the partner organizations who came out to support BSRF and share helpful information with guests about stroke recovery. We are grateful to all who attended. With your support, we're off to a great start in helping stroke survivors on their road to recovery. THANK YOU!

May Stroke Recovery Awareness Month

May is recognized as Stroke Awareness Month around the world, but BELIEVE – Stroke Recovery Foundation wants to ensure there is a renewed focus on RECOVERY during May. For the more than 795,000 people who suffer a stroke each year in the United States, the goal is to get back onto a path to recovery, so that they can regain their independence for a better quality of life.

Whether you are a stroke survivor, a caregiver, a rehabilitation center or hospital, there are many ways you can celebrate Stroke Recovery Awareness month in May. Here are some ideas that we hope you’ll consider.
